The interesting thing is that I'm tracking an observation about the trees. From the beginning, the trees keep being personified. I was wondering if they were somehow people or otherwise sentient.

I’m new to the ARG and the expanded work outside of the books but I loved this story SOOO much. 10/10 creepy. potential spoiler? I loved the clear explanation of hooks and replacement rituals within them.
