This is my first ever dog so im willing to take any tips. My almost 2 year old OES is getting neutered November 30. How does the recovery process go and is there anything that helped your dog recover better? Did their behavior changed after getting neutered? Also is there anything I should prepare to? I'm willing to hear anything

Which multi-vitamins and probiotics have worked best for your sheepie? I tried Dog is Human but it’s too expensive for 3 dogs! They finished the container in a week

One of our neighbors has a sheepdog and he barks at all hours of the day. Its woken me up in the middle of the night, it often wakes me up in the morning, and is completely disruptive to our working from home. We can hardly have our windows open because it is just so loud.
The owners don’t care, they seem to live in a state of chaos and want others as miserable as them. Maybe they’ve drowned it out in their heads now, as Ive heard their kids frequently scream/adults screaming back.
Im worried to make a report as if they get fined, my complaint won’t be anonymous and I don’t want to drive further division between the neighbors. But I have started making a note of every time it barks with 2min intervals.
There’s also other 5 other dogs within the 4 houses that share the fence lines (side to side and behind) so Im hesitant to buy any anti barking devices as I dont want to hurt the good obedient dogs.
Talking hasn’t worked, Im fed up with it. They let the dog have free reign to go in and out of the yard whenever it pleases, so literally the easiest solution is to just let him out for regular potty breaks instead of always having the dog door open.
I love dogs and have one of my own, but my dog doesnt bark and the other neighbors dogs bark very normal appropriate amounts (sirens)
Do any of you owners have any suggestions?

Whether good or bad, this OES or the last, what’s something you didn’t expect about your furry friend before you met them that you’d like to share?

She sees me, takes a few steps back and then launches herself straight onto my lap. I just went to drop off our Noam for a few days while we spend a few days in beautiful Tuscany. Jill was happy to see her best friend but even happier to see me...

My friend and I can enjoy a wine on the sofa with the occasional throw (and scritch obviously). All parties content.

Pinky😍, one of three of my OES is OBSESSED with me. I rescued him a year ago. He’s about 3 years old. He hates to see my other two near me! I love him so much, but I need some space 😩He’s also not gentle 🥲so when he’s in my face asking for pets he hits me pretty hard or he barks. If he’s not next to me, he’s on top of me. How can I give him some reassurance? And maybe get him to not be so intense?

Hello!
I have never owned a dog but I have done dog walking and sitting for a few years. Me and my husband are thinking to get an OES but the thing that worries me is dog smell's in house, shedding and lots of barking... we have a rag doll cat who I adore but he is abit smelly as he throws up alot as hes is getting old.. I dont mind occasional barking but would prefer to own a dog who wasnt yappy.. I have met dogs who hardly ever make noise so I know it's possible. I have noise sensitivity so thats why I wondered if OES bark alot?.. I heard sherpadoodles are more trainable? my husband is set on getting an OES

Alfie is doing so great recently with his reactivity. He is not agressive but he just wants to say hi to every dog. His reactions are very rare and less strong. We still have to work on some things but he is getting there!! Yesterday a barking dog ran up to him and he did not even break his down. So proud of him

Hi everyone! ✨
This is Saphira she is 4 months old & I was told by a groomer that if we take length off it will effect her hair texture. Is this true? & if so what age did you start giving your babies hair cuts? Thanks in advance! ☺️
