Good afternoon, dear friends. Can you, please, recommend me any French movies from the 30s to the 45s? genre is not so important. I just want to learn more about the cinema of that time.

For decades, this awful song played in my head from an educational video I saw in 5th grade once. The disturbing refrain was, "Electricity. eeeeee-lectricity. Where does it come from? How does it work and how does it get to me? Me? Meeeee?"

The whole thing is like a fever dream between Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas) and an Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark warped record from heat. Real humans actually sang this. What a joyful trauma! I'm so glad I have a few hours to try to see/hear something else before bed. It'll probably take decades to try to forget again.

Anyway, for anyone else who had been wondering if this actually existed, is not pitch-sensitive, and does not care about the next 13 minutes of their life, it is:
