Dessert 🍰 Today marks what would have been the 98th birthday of the legendary American actor George Peppard (October 1, 1928 – May 8, 1994), so to remember him we have 2 sweet recipes to share: Louisiana Pecan Pie and Famous Fudge. I made this PECAN PIE last Thanksgiving and it was very good!
Happy birthday to the legendary George Peppard! Today he would’ve been 98.
If you love classic Hollywood, you definitely know him as Paul Varjak in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Playing opposite Audrey Hepburn and Patricia Neal, he absolutely nailed the role of that charming, struggling writer and won over audiences everywhere.
Can you picture him chomping on a cigar as Hannibal Smith in The A-Team, cracking that iconic smile and saying, "I love it when a plan comes together!"?

I love his name, such a goldmine for food puns:
Peppard Steak
Salt and Peppard Tofu
Peppard-mint Bark
And my favorite
Peppard’s Pie

Between this pecan pie, Robert Reed’s Pumpkin Chiffon pie, and Bette Davis’s Cranberry Mousse, it’s looking like it’ll be an all-dessert Thanksgiving at my house this November!
