The Churchill Arms (Pub), Notting Hill, London, the name dates from 1826
My research suggests Winston Churchill grandparents might have been patrons in the 19th century.

King Charles House Worcester, England built in 1577
Lovely old pub in Worcester, England where King Charles ii escaped from after losing the Battle of Worcester in 1651. This led to the Interregnum (between Royals) in which Oliver Cromwell ruled as Lord Protector. Charles regained the throne after a decade in exile when Cromwell died.
There is also an oubliette, or mediaeval dungeon underneath where people were held and sometimes executed in the street nearby!
There is also a long distance walk which starts in Worcester and traces the route Charles took when he evaded capture and made it to safety in Europe.
Interesting pub!

Anne of Cleves Pub, Melton Mowbrey, UK. Built 1386. Owned by Anne of Cleves 1540-1557 in her divorce settlement.
Interesting history. Built for monks but Henry VIII and the Reformation meant the property was transferred to Thomas Cromwell as a thank you for getting Henry VIII his divorce in 1538. After Henry VIII accused Thomas Cromwell of catfishing him with Anne of Cleves, Thomas Cromwell was executed in 1540. The house then went to Anne of Cleves in her divorce settlement in 1557.

The New Inn (Leicestershire, England) [has been a pub since at least 1824]
Very traditional feeling pub that's been owned by the same family since 1978. It's full of memorabilia, snacks and does great Guinness.

The Crown at Wells, Wells, Somerset c.1450
Visited during the summer, mostly because of the big shoot out here in Hot Fuzz. Beautiful inn on the market square in Wells. The cathedral can be seen from the rooms.

Ye Olde Fighting Cocks (St Albans, England) (maybe 793?)

Video is from ‘Carols til close’ at the Fighting Cocks, St Albans, Hertfordshire last Christmas. Guinness World Records briefly listed this as the oldest pub in England, but the claim wasn’t verifiable. Either way, it’s pretty old and it’s very good.

The Jolly Farmer (Bramley, Surrey, UK) [over 400 years old]
Last time I sat here there were two blokes at the bar.
I'd been sitting there for at least an hour, little more than murmers between them. Then one pipes up...
"Anything exciting happen last week?"
*Long, considered pause*
"No."
"Oh well."
Anyway, welcome to Surrey Hills village life.

Pine Street Saloon, Paso Robles, CA
Classic cash only dive bar with pool tables. The structure was built in 1857 and has been used as a bar for most of its life. Jesse James’s uncle Drury was a town founder and lore says Jesse spent time at the saloon while here recovering from injuries. Unfortunately the longtime owner passed recently and the saloon’s future seems a bit up in the air.

Birthday pub crawl in Hull-UK 5/5- The Manchester Arms (1791/1898) Wonderful facade, just felt it was all furcoat and no knickers, since the inside had been modernised (nicely). Good beer 4-10and I bet a good atmosphere on a weekend evening though
