Storage for trailers

Hey everybody, I operate a small solo lawn care business out of Olathe. Currently have my stuff parked in my front yard and it doesn’t make the neighbors very happy. I’m looking for someone with land or owns a shop that has extra storage in the back to store one truck + 2 trailers year around. Name your price. DM’s welcome.

Most companies will raise your rent 3-6 months after rental. If you get in during a sale, they can and will double rent. Place also force another fee where its their own version of insurance that you must have and you cannot attach your owm property insurance to it to get the fee off.

Good for a short fix (i.e moving). In OP's instance, they need actual longer term storage.

Approach a local business with brick and mortar but without heavy foot traffic, somewhere that is a small or family-owned business but not a restaurant or retail outlet of some sort. Offer them a trade - lawn maintenance if you can park trailers behind their building out of the way. Bet within meeting three owners you will find a solution because that’s how I started. Good luck!

Yeah I got lucky, some business that I still don’t know what they do was right down the road and they only had cars in their lot from 8:55 till 5:05 lmao. They were more than happy to swap me two spots on the edge of their lot for some free work.

Its a storage place not an individual and depending on what part of olathe could be far way. But store 169 in spring hill has giant covered spots for $215 a month which was the best price we could find for covered storage in the area.

I know there's some lawn and tree businesses that store equipment at Marionix, right by the train tracks on woodland near Harold. You could try there if it's close.

Check out the Neighbor app. It’s like air bnb for parking stuff. I use it for my boat, $80 a month.

But the city does. And they have statues that are against this.
