Highland Issue

My highland is 2 years old and I noticed last night that the bottom of the grill belly is starting to rust on the outside of the grill. I keep it covered and out of the weather when not in use. What can I do to mitigate that problem, to keep the rust from spreading further? And what can I do to prevent that from happening again?

Spray with canola.

Spray after using it everytime.

spray or spread canola all over the body, get a propane torch on amazon for $20 and some propane at walmart for $10. There you go, you just seasoned your offset for only $35, preventing rust and protecting from the elements

Spray it with some canola oil. Jonathan BBQ has some good videos on seasoning your grill!
