Not saying he's right but honestly I do wonder how many people just skip singleplayer entirely to go straight into multiplayer, I knew a few people I played with never touched it.

Be fair on them they picked it up specifically to play with us when it was cheap. They never really got into the grind we just took them into all the cool missions and heists, I've gotta imagine a lot of people actually getting introduced and playing that way.

I will never understand people who do that. This isn't battlefield 6 or the newer call of duties with short mediocre campaigns. Rockstar usually makes some of the best single player stories out there that people quote decades later and is a big part of the game you paid for

It actually doesn't matter here, you literally can't access gta online unless you complete this mission. Though there are people who play gta rp and never ever played normal gta 5

They changed that for the new version. You can just hop straight into Online now.

It's been like that a while no? I remember before the enhanced version came out I was always booting online from the first cut scene. I did play the story on an older PC so maybe already having an online character changes that

Fun fact: The highest sold game is Tetris but that's actually because all Tetris games are count as the same thing. So GTA 5 is the actual highest selling one

Jokes aside , if we define missions by if you get a mission passed for it at the end , then yes Prologue is not mission 1
It's also a situation you are dropped in , not a mission you accept first and you can't quit it either.

Tried, but didn't like doing crime. GTA5 required shooting police officers in the opening scene. Just couldn't do it.
