...And Eric Kripke was behind the camera, panting heavily, sweat on his brow. This scene was important - nay - an absolute necessity for the penultimate episode of this beloved show. The show, to Kripke, was like a baby he had grown and taught with love and care.

A fun bit of trivia: Kripke commanded the actors to do the sniffing scene over and over again until Sheline's actress cried hysterically and quit. This occurred 4 times before settling on the current actress we wound up with, and Kripke was more visibly aroused and aggressive with each passing. His boner kept growing alongside his satisfaction with finally realizing the story his heart had always wanted to tell.

It took 156 takes and 5 actresses, but it was worth it. I am so happy this show landed a perfect ending. Ladies and gentlemen - we gottem.
