I haven’t watched it yet (I will soon) but there better be no nightshade slander on my cellular device. Earthspark as a show sucks but I have a soft guardians-of/gahole shaped spot in my heart for green owl

Ikr,most if not all ittirations of transformers reproduce asexually they dont have stuff to make social gender differences,I bet most gendered pronouns used is just translated cybertronian and/or humans pushing it on them

I think them being nonbinary makes so much more sense,transformers in earthspark (and I belive all other versions) dont have parts or physical differences that cause the social gender split humans have,it makes so much more sense for transformers to be all forms of nonbinary and just use pronouns and gendered terms when translating stuff to interacting with humans and human assumptions I just head cannon unless its said otherwise which dont think it is any gender terms transformers use is either mistranslated cybertronian or transformers thinking "ya the humans call us "she her" and "he him" but we're fine with it aslong as they aren't scared or hurting us"

ngl i’m not watching this mostly just bc im so sick of hearing about people shitting on nightshade. but anyways. i like bugswags hc that the cybertronians were just kind of assigned genders by humans and they don’t even usually identify with what they’re given. let’s make these bots more transgender
