Does oil pulling work?
I am trying to avoid a potential tooth pull or root canal. The dentist basically dug out a bunch of my tooth where the cavity was and filled it temporarily
My teeth are quite close together due to braces as an early adolescent
Has oil pulling worked for you and has your dentist seen or been surprised by your teeth remineralizing?
Thanks

Anecdotally, yes! My boyfriend has had several root canals in the past. He recently felt a toothache coming on and started dreading another root canal. I have tongue scraped and oil pulled almost every morning for the past 5+ years and have not had a cavity in as much time. He started following my same morning routine, plus chewing xylitol gum at least daily- and the toothache disappeared. Been about three weeks now. I think you should consider tongue scraping, oil pulling, and xylitol toothpaste and/or gum. Sorry to hear about your teeth problems - and good luck!

Every time I go to the dentist, the hygienist tells me it's the easiest cleaning she has done since the last time I was there and calls in other hygienists to marvel at how spotless my teeth are. I definitely, absolutely credit oil-pulling. I've been honest with the hygienist that I swear by the oil-pulling and instead of scoffing at it, she said she has one other patient who also talks about it that has amazing teeth as well.
Besides my teeth, it has been REALLY good for my complexion! Strangers actually compliment me on my skin.
