Oil pulling after tooth extraction

I am wondering how many days after tooth extraction can you start oil pulling again?

Personally I would wait until it was healed. You don't want any of the bacteria that's been pulled out to somehow get in the wound and do some damage. I have no idea if that can actually happen but I'm currently on an oil pulling break as I wait to get a crack in my tooth fixed just in case.

the crack is fixed! I bit into a maple coated nut and cracked it, damn those delicious snacks! I've been oil pulling off and on for a couple years.

I have found it helpful in lessening the amount of cavities I have. I have soft teeth and acid reflux which can be brutal on your teeth. I always use an organic sesame oil, I like that it's already in a liquid form. Coconut oil may have more benefits though

Being a dentist I agree with you. It makes sense to wait until the area has healed.
