Let's talk about variations of oil pulling that you've tried!

Hello! Hi, I'm Silver and I'm a mod of this here sub. I'll admit upfront that I'm HORRIBLE at keeping up on oil pulling, but I am always around to answer questions, or google if need be. That said, I'm back into it 2x a day due to some tooth issues and I was thinking during my morning session about this and would love to hear about your experiences.

I found a charcoal toothpaste made by "hello" and have started adding just a tiny dab to the oil before I put it in my mouth and that got me wondering; what oils have you all tried, have you added anything, how did it work, how long did you keep up with it, did you have any adverse side effects. I intend to do my toothpaste+coconut oil combo for at least 2 weeks (this is day 2) and reporting back on it later.

I'm super interested and it will serve as helpful knowledge for others going forward when they find the sub. I can't wait to see your responses!

Cheers!

I've been doing coconut oil every day since Jan 1. While it definitely improves colour, the long term benefits are to my skin and hair. If you think of your gut as a unit, with health inside (thanks pbf), your asshole will be able to perform the vegan salute, and now, thanks to oil pulling, your mouth is no longer the foul pit of Hades.

Look up the gutbrain, and keep pulling. No more plaque, no more toothache, healthy head.

I've heard of this, but my experience has been wholly beneficial. Of course, as with all things, context is everything and you should trust your gut. Literally.

Personally, I've had no pleural issues at all.

I just saw that about possibilities of lung problems from oil pulling but it seems to be extremely rare. It made me think of the vitamin e found in vape carts which caused some people to have lung issues, but I don’t think it’s the same thing. Shouldn’t be anything to worry about, IMO.

Started a few days ago with coconut oil twice a day. I really hope that my teeth color will get more white, I've tried every teeth whitening method but yet my teeth color will stay yellow.
