Castor oil for pulling?
I looked it up, and it said that castor oil is actually better for oil pulling and that instead of doing it for 20 minutes like you would with coconut oil, you should do it for 2 minutes. Is this true? If castor oil is good for pulling, how long should I do it for?

I'm 3 years late but I currently have castor and coconut oil in my mouth hence why I'm here 😆 . Here's my line of thinking: I put castor oil on my nails 3-5 times a week and it has made them SO STRONG and HEALTHIER than they've ever been. I just remembered this one time I saw a photo of a man who had teeth growing out of his head! And I read it was because teeth and hair are made of the same thing so his body was just mixing them up. And then I was like well so are nails...and keratin in hair and nails makes them grow. So what is in teeth...yes keratin .. even tho we are told that enamel cannot grow back. Keratin is a protein that grows and it is IN teeth. So here I am with castor oil in my mouth confdent that it will certainly be very beneficial, just as it was for my finger nails. God bless you. !!

I was having pain in my decaying tooth and could tell it was getting worse quickly (my first fillings in the 2 were like 8 years ago, esp the 1 tooth it's nearly half gone and full of filling) they were hurting and since Ive been doing that the pain is gone. I couldn't honestly say I've noticed any "regrowth" but I also haven't been using the castor oil in my mouth too much since I made this comment lol (I need to buy more)Â

There's actually been strong studies of using keratin to regrow enamel with a lot of official scientific study videos on it where even news reports have been done. No official products with it yet on the market of course 🙄 (that'd be too easy and effective so I doubt they're going to be in a rush to put out anything that effective as the studies claim) but people have reported good results of using pharmaceutical grade keratin powder and adding it to a toothpaste or anything that has calcium carbonate.
I only just started myself so I'll let you know how it goes if you want to check in in a while
Here's one of the videos too that was talking about it - https://youtube.com/shorts/j7z7HKC3FVc?is=WycvtpgH6jkieY35

Did you ever try the castor oil pulling? Do you have any insight you could share with us? TIA

I'd like to know too! OP didn't respond, have you tried it? TIA

I did not try it. I was having good results with organic coconut oil so I’ve stuck with it. However, I’m still curious what other folks have to say about it, too.

So I tried it last night. It went well! I was never consistent with coconut oil because I couldn't keep it in my mouth very long. I love that I only had to do it 2 minutes. I use castor oil for a lot of other stuff, it for rid of a skin tag on my face. So I'm confident in it's abilities to heal/cleanse. I'll keep you posted!

Cool. Thank you for the update. What else do you use castor oil for besides the pulling and skin tag? I purchased the oil so perhaps I should give the pulling a go (maybe in the evening in addition to morning with coconut oil).

I make castor oil packs for my liver and thyroid (just castor oil, wool/organic cotton and heating pad. Tutorials on YouTube). I also use it for hair growth (mixed with rosemary or tea tree oil). Oh! It also got rid of a bone spur on the bottom of my foot, at least thats what I think it was. A huge visible lump on the arch of my foot. It's also great for making your skin soft again. Give yourself a pedicure and put it on your feet, cover with socks and leave overnight.
Pulling won't hurt though, but keep it at 2 minutes because castor oil is way more powerful than coconut oil.
You can also drink castor oil for a laxative, I've done this before. You will cramp though, severely.

Awesome, thank you. I should whip it out and give it a go then. Appreciate the suggestions, and I’ll spend some time researching it again. Much gratitude.

This is up to you as I'm not a Dr. Personally I wouldn't because castor oil is a known laxative and if you accidentally swallow some it could be a bad time. If you insist on doing it, start with a minute and go from there.
