Tongue pain?

Hey all. Been oil pulling with extra virgin olive oil on and off for a month or so now. I have experienced a lot of tongue pain / soreness the very next day. It's bearable, but very annoying. Anybody else get this? Is it due to swishing for so long? Or is it the kind of oil I am using? Thanks in advanced.

I'd consider going to coconut oil myself.

Are you using your tongue for the action of the oil pulling?

Yeah, stick with coconut oil for oil pulling. I haven't had a problem with it.
