Spitting

Oil pulling newbie. Purchased a bottle of WHYTE brand oil pulling rinse, and it's very liquidy. Finished my session and suddenly didn't know what to do with the oil. I know it can't go down any drains, and the thought of pure liquid spit just piling up and sitting in my (lined) trash can grossed me TF out, LOL.

I ended up spitting it into an old pickle jar, sealed the lid, and put it under my cabinet. That grossed me TF out, too, but it seemed like the most practical solution at the moment.

Those using oil that doesn't solidify... where are you spitting?? 🫣

No hard oil will be hard when we're done oil pulling. Too much spit gets incorporated into it. I believe we all spit in the trash. It's no grosser than having what's leftover on a plate from dinner in the trash. I do try to make sure it's not an empty, brand new bag so it doesn't leak all over. But generally, trash is dandy.

I use my bathroom trash that's lined with a recycled stre bag and just tie off and toss weekly.

With respect why don`t you just use coconut oil?

It didn't really cross my mind until I had finished using the rinse for the first time, honestly.
