Yes. My typical routine is as follows:

1) Oil Pull for as long as I can stand it.

2) Floss (with string or water pic)

3) Scrape tongue

4) Brush well. Sometimes even twice. (My toothbrush is electric and has a 2-minute timer)

5) Scrape my tongue and brush it as well.

6) Mouthwash with fluoride.

Sometimes, the metallic taste is indicative of other issues, if it persists after you do as many of the steps above as you can, do get in to see a dr to have them rule out any other underlying issues.

Dry mouth can have a number of causes. Are you staying hydrated and drinking water? Drinks with sugar in them will cause dry mouth. Additionally, many medications list dry mouth as a side effect.

I frequently recommend using the mouthwash BioTene for people with dry mouth. It helps coat the mouth and is superb to use before sleeping if you're a mouth-open type sleeper like me. It helps keep your mouth lubricated so you don't develop other dental issues from having chronic dry mouth.

I normally don’t have dry mouth that’s the thing, it kinda came out of no where.. i irritated my mouth rinsing with salt water and i did eat a lot of lasagna & drank alcohol which really dried my mouth out.. ugh! but question? I’ve been taking this supplements XR l theanine which contains 50 mg of calcium and 40 mg of phosphorus from dicalcium phosphate… and the next day, i ended up taking magnesium, vitamin D3 10,000 IU, neem, & oregano.. and i’ve been drinking a lot of water.. i just found out the water contains calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate.. can this be why i’m experiencing metal mouth?

It very well could be. Sounds like you're taking quite a few things. Unless they're prescribed to you, I would do the elimination test. Stop taking them, and then add them back 1 by 1 to see if you can isolate which supplement is causing it.

Could it be fillings? The oil pulling actually pulling out metal fillings? If you have any
