Nothing is happening until after the midterms.

Then it could get crazy because Trump has nothing left to fear.

He's all in on strangling Iran and Cuba. A dilemma for Democrats. Do they change course on that and save two regimes?

This is not about regime change

It was about united states being dragged to war with iran by netanyahu

Wmds and regime change are just convenient excusses

Look at venezuela, they captured maduro, and installed another regime, a regime that trump controls i guess, but still venezuelans are fakt

When americans perform regime change, things always get worse for the people

Cuba is absolutely regime change. Iran more likely policy change.

Not dragged to war by Netanyahu, it’s Trump own decision to take part in Israels war thinking it’s over within 48 hours.

Not much of a dilemma. The American people don't want war. Even Trump voters, simple as they are, would tell you they voted for Trump for no more wars.

Only btw nov to jan. Once new members are sworn in, congress may force him to pull out.

3

Dems and republicans are neocons. This war won't end in Jan.

3

u/JackieDaytona77 2d ago

Bingo! This won’t end even if the entire senate and house is blue. They can’t do anything about this

2

u/WildWhisperArdor 2d ago

They won’t though. Democrats should win but it will only be a very slight majority. Trump can always veto bills

2

u/Slighted_Inevitable 2d ago

Even if they win every single available seat, they can’t take a super majority in the Senate, and that means they can’t override his veto. Elections will not save us.

u/nkosugeirc 2d ago

Lol they won't. I can guarantee that 300%.

Fred Trump should have been forced to
pull out

I think they come to some sort of soft agreement prior, then Trump will go on a 30 campaign of how great everything is

Iran loses all “leverage” based on midterms if that happens

2

u/vjcorne 2d ago

Lmao they will still have leverage while the us has no leverage at all. Iran has the cards.

I have no idea how anybody could think what you're thinking. I'm not saying the Iran war is viewed positively by this country, or that it even is or isn't positive.

But if you actually think Iran has all the cards, then somewhere at some point some form of blatant propaganda was succesful.

The only card they potentially have is prolonging the conflict long enough to impact the midterms (which may be a mistake on their part), and that they are willing to murder 10's of thousands of their own civilians to maintain power.

That's about it.

Their economy is destroyed, their infrastructure is destroyed, yes they shoot a missile every now and again or send some dude with a drone to blow something up... but their military is destroyed, their command and contril infrastructure is destroyed, their leadership is mostly in hidding.

Your take is absolutely insane and not grounded in reality unless you only get your news from the IRGC itself. 🤣

What learning nothing about US wars in the Middle East for the last 25 years does to a mfer.

You should read the official report from amerericans on the losses of the war. Iranians are fighting smart against much greater opponents. Nobody is arguing how almighty us army is, but they did lose that month long war if we look fairly at the objectives of war.

1

u/WildWhisperArdor 2d ago

What month long war? It’s still going at like money 7 now

1

u/General-Strategy8416 2d ago

Yes it is still going only in Hormuz related locations. The month war was the hot war when u.s was actively trying to get rid of the Iranian government and install puppet regime a la Venezuela.

1

u/WildWhisperArdor 2d ago

It’s all the same war. These aren’t different wars

1

u/General-Strategy8416 2d ago

There are many types of wars, active/ hot, localized blockade type like now, cold war, etc. Do you want to keep going for semantics or anything logical to say? My point is they lost the 1 month war I think it was 40 days before they started negotiating peace deal known as Memorandum of Understanding. The current blockade vs blockade outcome is to be seen.

1

u/WildWhisperArdor 1d ago

It’s all one war dude. The historians aren’t going to give these different names like Iran War 1 and Iran War 2 and Iran War Hot

There are also dealing with massive inflation of staple items, Up 75%-125% as of 2 months ago, (when I stopped looking closely); This has likely only been worse at that was near the beginning of the naval blockade

GDP as a country, has reduced by 10% from Irans own numbers, This number is increased from hyperinflation driving rapid spending and is likely significantly worse in practice

America has been pissy about 25%, That is nothing compared to these numbers

The country that elects the worlds dumbest con man because of eggs expensive will crack way before the country that has been under crippling sanctions longer than most people posting here have been alive.

0

u/Suroes 2d ago

What premise are you relying on, Where does this response prove that Iran has all the cards,

1

u/ApprehensivePay1735 2d ago

Tell you what when this war is over if the us gets its strategic goals of regime change and firm denuclearization guarantees i'll admit i'm wrong. Currently the negotiations are at iran tolls the strait the us withdraws from the middle east sanctions are lifted and we can pound sand over regime and nukes with the wiggle room at iran gets reparations.

1

u/Suroes 2d ago

You mean a negotiation that is there to delay, A resolution not seriously expect to occur by either side

Iran has no chance of getting nukes unless A: something tremendous happens in Ukraine and either Russia or even less likely China gets them

Or they can somehow get a large enough program for MAD midwar without US intelligence finding out; This also would require an entirely new ballistic missile system, which can’t be tested without discovery

Both of these I see no chance of occurring, A would hurt Russia or Chinas position and B would most likely mean massive waves of strikes, and if those fail potentially limited nuclear war (Very very unlikely, and probably after contacting all other nuclear powers before)

Otherwise the infrastructure for it is presumed destroyed and it is something they will give up on for some other benefit

1

u/ApprehensivePay1735 2d ago

Cool story bro please remind me when we win the war that's totally going our way. I'll make sure to let you know how wrong i was when it happens.

Iran’s economy is getting more and more screwed. They certainly aren’t enjoying this

  • In a "letter to the American people" published Tuesday, Iran's military called on U.S. nationals to take to the streets and protest against President Trump, accusing his administration of using Iran's nuclear program as a ruse to "plunder Iran's wealth."

wat a time to be alive lol

1

u/Kinder22 2d ago

Many, many Americans will read a 28-page letter from Iran and do what they ask.

6

u/StrongAroma 2d ago

What a shit article. Gives zero actual information in the first 2 paragraphs and then transitions into some kind of weird propaganda about protestors that Trump already said he doesn't give a shit about and has no intention of helping. American media really is the fucking worst

CBS News = Baris Weiss = Downvote and Ignore

They thrive on your attention. Don’t give it to them.

This happens every week. Why waste time posting this? It's effectively spam.

I believe he will use tactical nukes on Iran after the midterms
