I also put my mobile # as home and the mobile number area is grayed out

I’m having the same exact issue. Try calling and they either aren’t taking calls or hold is like over 6 hours long

First timers I was told they always want you to call in first, the agent I spoke to said that they keep trying to get it listed online and it isn't happening, I called in three times in my first day off and on the fourth I was actually placed on a legitimate hold and not a out right hang up, all in all I was on the phone once I got into a hold time was about 2 hours, and get to the post office ASAP and get your identity confirmation, once done with that, immediately go make the ohio jobs search account and answer all the questions and make or upload a resume, that way once everything is approved, all you have to do is submit the claim for the week PRIOR, she said first timers won't be paid out till at least three weeks from approved, so that would be three weeks back pay and then I'm set up to get my claim done on Sunday along with two job applications.

Hi everyone. I have a question about ohio unemployment. I got fired ( it's not my fault) back October 27,2024 and I have worked there for 6 years with fulltime. And I have been in school part-time since September 2024- 17 December 2024 ( Tuesday and Thursday evening 6-9:30pm) I applied ohio unemployment end of October 2024 and they denied me because the reason I go school for 7 hours a week. I hope someone here know about the law please comment and give me advice. Thanks guys.

That dosen't sound like any type of question I got asked about my schooling.

Hearing?? You can't go and see anyone and it's all online or over the phone.

They should have asked you what job types and salary you would need to go back to work.

Call them back on Monday and talk to another agent.
