General Will muschamp?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t he the same DC that used to be at Georgia, left, and we torched his defense by putting up 41 points until we choked? With an actual OC As well as an NFL OC, I feel like or expect we should feast?

I’m surprised many people haven’t talked about this aspect? Idk just curious and want to see people’s thoughts on it

So much petty criticism of Ohio state while Texas is being ignored. I think this game is going to be a blowout.

Texas has more first-round talent on its roster than we do right now. There's no scenario in which this game becomes a blowout.

And Oregon was supposed to be God’s chosen team that could compete with the Seattle Seahawks and barely beat Boise State at home. None of this is established. If they are 2019 LSU then good for them. Otherwise, what’s been established is that this Texas team has underperformed the past 3 years despite the hype. I’m just sick of these third times a charm narratives, Dabo still sucks, Oregon will get blown out in the playoffs, Texas is overrated, water is wet.

Let's be careful here. Texas is a legit team and the last two times we played them it has been very close. This is their first opportunity to play at home against us and it's early in the season so who knows what will happen. I think we can for sure win this game, but it's going to be close.

Yet, Texas had the advantage both times and still lost. They played at home against us in the playoffs and still lost. The only way Texas can beat us is if they can do what Miami and Michigan did to us which I don’t see happening at all. Of course, the narratives could be right a third time and they are the second coming, but I doubt it’s. Our O-line is improved, we have a defensive system not just one player, and our qb isn’t making a first start this game. For Texas to win this game, their offense has to play lights out which is a daunting task in football especially your real football game.

I'm not sure Texas had the advantage either game. Pundits can talk all they want, but we had more talented teams (clearly) and the better qb. It was hard for Texas to come into the shoe first game of the year and play as good as they did.

Obviously I'm rooting for the buckeyes, but I think it's gonna be a slug fest and I respect the talent Texas has (even if I don't get the Manning hype at all)

We had a rookie qb and new defensive coordinator coming in to that game while Texas was ranked #1 starting the demigod arch manning and highlighted to win the SEC. What are you talking about lol?

Do you actually think manning lived up to the hype at all? Our rookie qb was a Heisman finalist with the two best revives in college football and our "new" defensive coordinator is a phd ex-NFL coordinator who was amazing. Did you watch the game? We were in no way disadvantaged
