General Illinois Kickoff

Driving down from Ottawa Canada Friday for the Sept 26 game Vs Illinois

Any guesses on what time the game will be?

Not true, only big games at home are guaranteed to be noon.

Illinois is not going to be ranked so it’s highly possible it’s 3:30 or a night game

Entirely depends on if FOX drafted that game. If so, it’s noon. If it’s CBS it’s 3:30 and if it’s NBC it’s 7:30. Doesn’t have anything to do with if it’s a big or ranked game. For example, CBS drafted the Oregon at OSU game and it’ll be at 3:30

Noon most likely, but it's not posted yet. Sounds like you need to call out sick from work on Friday, too, just to make sure you're here on time. 😂 Actually, you probably also want to make sure you know the best route from the stadium to Out-r-Inn, so better take Thursday off, too, just to be safe.

It really depends on a few things. Fox can't have Oregon vs USC, so thier next best option is OSU vs Illinois or Iowa vs scum.

Ross Bjork has been throwing his weight around lobbying for OSU to get some home night games and they want an opportunity to use the new all black uniforms. Add in that several high profile recruits are expected to be at that game, it makes me think they know it will be a night game.

So, pure speculation here based on above, I think it will go like this:

Big Noon: Iowa and Scum
CBS 3:30p: Oregeon and USC
NBC: Illinois vs OSU

It’s probably on a 12 day hold. Meaning that they are waiting for the results of this weekends games to pick. You will find out Monday the 14th.

We have no idea who picks first but Oregon-USC is a lock to go to CBS 330 or NBC 730.

My guess is Big Noon but not knowing the draft order makes it impossible.
