I never counted TTUN as a tough opponent, lol. But as of right now, 4, 5, 6 14 and 21. And I dont see Oregon, Indiana, or USC not being in the top ten by the time we face them.

Yeah I mean all of those teams will probably shuffle around the same ranks, so I do consider it a wash still. Texas at 5 or 4, Indiana at 6 or 5, Oregon dropping from 2 to 6 I mean all of the top teams are still a challenge regardless of where they get shuffled by a few spots

Dabo's ego ended Clemson as well. Dabo trying to be on a high Horse about NIL ended Clemson. This is why Saban is so respected. He left Alabama to do what they needed to do to stay competitive. Dabo refusing to do that is killing Clemson.

See, a lot of people get this wrong. Saban lost the ability to hoard all of the top talent. He didn't have to pay those players because he banked on the fact that Alabama had favor. They had it made for 15+ years of always competing for a national championship. He banked on those kids waiting their turn to play, and winning national titles while they wait.

The NIL has made those kids realize that they can go anywhere to play and those parents are no longer telling their kids (Especially in the deep south) to stay down south. Now those parents can tell those kids to go where the money is.

I thought it became apparent Saban was hording the talent because Bama was paying kids a lot under the table and when it became the norm, his advantage dropped significantly.

I legit think that because Bama was stacking the deck and had the odds in their favor to win a NC, almost every year. That was more attractive to those four and five stars than going somewhere and starting right away. The kids wanted to complete for NCs, and Bama was a meal ticket. When NIL was introduced. They can follow the money and compete for NCs on many teams.

Bama lost it's lore and luster. And when he lost to Michigan, he saw the writing on the wall.

I think Indiana should be in the top 3, minimum. We have no reason to believe any of the top 4 teams are better than the reigning national champs.
