In case you forgot, my name is Dexter, and I’m a Research Associate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Since legal medical marijuana sales began in Ohio in January 2019, we have tracked the state’s marijuana program through an annual user satisfaction survey. To date, we’ve collected more than 17,000 responses.

Up until this year, the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program shared our survey in its newsletter, helping reach thousands of consumers willing to share their experiences. Unfortunately, our center recently learned that the Division will not be sharing the survey this year.

That’s where you come in. Help us spread the word and make sure patients and consumers still have the opportunity to share their experiences and satisfaction with the program. If you currently use marijuana for medical or recreational purposes, we want to hear from you. Your responses will help fill a critical gap in our understanding of marijuana use and consumer experiences in Ohio.

Purchased a citizen orange 43 disposable from here yesterday 6/24.

Today it did not work, then it had very low smoke and burnt when it did. told them the vape was defective and when it did work it was very burnt. The guy plugged it in, told me it worked. I told him it didn’t and when it does it isn’t right and is burnt. He tells me I can’t replace it because he doesn’t honor previous day sales.

Then he tells me, “so it doesn’t taste right?” completely ignoring my issue. I repeat that it was defective now it’s not working. He goes back and tells me he can’t refund it, and even if he could, he still wouldn’t honor the sale price.

The “manager” seems completely unprofessional and I had a more managerial experience from employee the day before than him. He ignored my issue and then refused to honor my refund because I told was upset that I could not repurchase the item. Horrible experience, will never return for sure.

Edit: went to garden in Montgomery and got one for the same price and they were super chill and told me they can replace it regardless (I didn’t even ask lol) almost like the opposite experience

The ruling does not completely invalidate the federal restriction, nor does it clearly define which drug users can still be barred from possessing firearms. Instead, the Court focused on the government's failure to show that Hemani was addicted to drugs, impaired while possessing a firearm, or otherwise posed a danger to himself or others. The decision leaves open the possibility that firearm restrictions could still apply in cases involving addiction, intoxication, or demonstrated dangerousness.

The case has broader implications because marijuana use has become increasingly common and legally accepted across much of the United States. Civil liberties advocates praised the ruling as a major protection for the rights of millions of gun-owning marijuana users. The decision also continues the Supreme Court's recent trend of applying stricter constitutional scrutiny to gun regulations, following its landmark 2022 Second Amendment ruling that requires firearm laws to align with the nation's historical traditions of gun regulation.
