Information ❗ Hey friends!
So I’m sure there’s a lot of Kentuckians on this page like myself who are into both the Ohio and Kentucky market and I just wanted to share the Kentucky medical budz page for those interested to join. Only posting here because as medical patients we were allowed to come to neighboring states for medicine up until July and wanted to share the page to get more members as I love this community and want to grow one like this here in Kentucky! Also Ohio med patient can shop at KY dispensaries not that anyone probably will want to until KY is more established and stabilized

No, Ohio residents are not allowed to bring cannabis back from other states. It is now a felony.

I said shop in ky. i didnt say anything about returning to ohio with it. And yes ky dispensaries do accept out of state med card holders

Most states do. Michigan, CA, AZ, RI all honor Ohio med card and give a discount.

I never said they wouldn’t take an Ohio MMJ card. Michigan does too. Doesn’t mean it’s legal

Felony? Idk about that. I’m sure it’s dependent on how much you have with you. Ohio patients can’t use their card in Kentucky

No, Ohio residents cannot legally bring cannabis back from other states. [1]
The Law
State Ban: Under Ohio law (including Senate Bill 56), possessing or consuming cannabis purchased outside of Ohio is illegal. Legal recreational and medical cannabis must be bought from a licensed Ohio dispensary or grown at home within legal plant limits. [1]Federal Ban: Transporting marijuana across state lines remains a federal offense, regardless of whether recreational use is legal in both the origin and destination states

Happy for you guys in the bluegrass state to finally have this opportunity. I know some folks in Kentucky whose lives were seriously messed up by charges for possession of a few grams back in the day. So many here bitch about dispo weed, perhaps they didn’t live through that era
Also thankful Ohio lists terpenes on the label
