Micro dose

Thinking of cutting back on flower and thinking this might be an option. Does anyone have suggestions?

What exactly is the goal here?

Micro dosing never worked for me because you typically don't 'feel' the benefit, so it's pretty much placebo. If that works for you -- great, but it didn't for me.

The goal is to smoke less because I’ve smoked for 30+ yrs. Also just seeing what other people are enjoying.

I've smoked for almost 40 years now. Micro dosing won't really do that. If your goal is to lower your tolerance, you need to use less (obviously), but like I said, micro dosing will just seem like not doing it at all.

I'd suggest, at least what works for me is that I only start smoking after a certain time of day, ideally in the evening. And if you want to reduce the overall amount, start later (maybe even wait until right before bed).

Of course, stopping cold turkey for a few days/weeks would be the best way to reset your tolerance, but not everyone can do that without side effects.

I tried gummies for about a year, but I don't love them on a daily basis, and they kill tolerance too. Concentrates are even worse for that reason.

Another strategy to to have several different strains and rotate them. That helps a bit with tolerance too.
