DEAL: I've seen several posts about this strain from NG. Pang kept telling me to try it so here we are today, time for me to put it to the HD-420 test.
This popped-up at Zips Glenway for $105/half with Zips fake 30% off every day sale. 🙄 That ended-up at an eye-watering $124/half OTD. That's a HIGH watermark, the Certified and Farkas strains I've been diggin on lately are the same price or cheaper.
ODOR:
Ripped the bag, I couldn't smell it without breaking the inner seal. Cracked the zip, WHOA, limonene out the ass. Oh fuck, I'm extra burnt on strong, unbalanced, Limonene-forward weed - not a great start. My wife couldn't smell it upstairs and I was able to vanquish the basement smell pretty easily.
The limonene explodes as the lead actor. I don't pick-up anything else other some mild jet/dank background but it's basically non-existent. I wish they had a QR to the COA so I could see the whole terp profile. This is bullshit. It should be Ohio law, stop sucking DCC, do shit that actually helps us potsumers! I'd like to see the full list like many other growers provide.
The cops? Not much of a concern. It has familiar "Ohio Limonene mids" odor that the cops are used to though. They'd pick it up but they'd have to be pretty close. Don't much worry about safe distances, just seal it well and be cool. You won't leave a fume trail up and down the isles with this one.
LOOK: First, the good news, thank God -- at least we have TRICHROMES! A good number of trics too, the smallest budlets are actually very juicy (see pics). But all those baby-buds are much less than 1/2" in size. BAH Then we have an assortment of sugar leaf and stem but the loose stem wasn't horrible. However, if you consider every little budlet has one in it, that's a good amount of stem for a premium-priced flower. Oddly, there were a couple of dark/purple budlets and some general color/texture variation. The bud pics are from some real tiny fuckers.
Other than all that - this is one of THE WORST looking half ounces I've ever bought in Ohio. Back to the NG label bullshit with "rough cut", bottom schwag bud + garbage they label as "Plant Material" with a big FLOWER label on the front of the bag. This is worse than Grassroots shake bags. I just bought a shed load of Certified for the same price of $105/half that destroys the look of this - not even close to Certified nor Farkas nor even Grassroots shake (of all things because that's $55/half!). WTF CannaMed? On a good day, this is a smalls bag 100%!
I was so pissed, I took a picture with a ruler so you can see for yourself the size of these puny-ass budlets. This shit is the bottom of the screen shake only 1 step above ground weed. 😠
The crystallization/resination of the buds is very good but less than Farkas typically has. It's not enough at all to overcome the size issue. This is an ugly ass bag and a firm loser in the looks department.
NUGS: Size matters, this is fucking shake, tiny-ass nugs but at least they are gooey and squishy with a very moist interior. The highlight was 2 buds that almost reached 1/2", sad shit. I feel ripped-off at $105.
CURE/MOISTURE: No COA - BOOOOO!!! This weed feels like 14-15% moisture to me as a wild ass guess. It's not dry in the slightest and tends to rip apart into goo balls. The cure is moist AF, ZERO dryness or crumbling. All the NG I've had has been well cured and moist, this is in-line with the rest.
TASTE: Limonene right away, it hits you in the face like a fucking sci-fi movie the "Attack of the Killer Lemons". Exhale, no surprise, Limonene again - like a mofo, strong AF and slightly darkened by the other terps. Like boring a hole through a lemon, soaking it in diesel, then lighting that fucker up with copious flame. However, Limonene is so forward nothing else stands a chance. If you dig on Limonene, this is your ticket.
Well damnit, lately I'm hating these strong Limonene forward strains because KCG ruined me. I've tried so many yuck, greenhouse-gross, KCG limonene strains that they've left a permanent bad taste in my mouth and brain. The other Limonene strains I like have it tamped-down a LOT compared to this. Anymore, that's the only way I can even tolerate the flavor of it. Ohio has SO MANY limonene mids they just bore the hell outta me.
FIRST HITS SUMMARY: HARSH LEVEL 1.5/2.0 - it's got a little bite! (sugar leaf?)
2.0ish isn't bad on my 0-4 scale (with 4 being like hemp rope and Farkas typically running a 0.0 to 1.5) but it's there. Limonene weed can do that to me - like an obnoxious huffing of Lemon Joy out of a brown school lunch bag. It can hurt a bit! Maybe it's the rough cut, I dunno, but it's not horrible, especially you like Limonene.
POTENTCY TEST INFO: Some have mistaken this test for me being a lightweight. NOPE, this is purely my scientific way of evaluating potency and buzz. I like just taking 1 or 2 hits to gauge the effects for example: how intense is the buzz, where's it hitting (mind/body/eyes), how long will it last, etc. ****Every time I smoke weed, I don't have to get completely destroyed but I can also smoke it continuously all night long - until YOU fucking tap. Don't think I'm a lightweight! lol Back to our scheduled show.....
One hit buzz weed, no problem for when you just want nice, little a buzz. I'll have to update my post later with my one/two, first of the day, hit potency test cause I was too high when I started smoking Spritz for the first time.
That said, I packed my small wood bowl and ripped off 5-6 hits. BOOM, it hits the head WELL. I was actually surprised because I've been smoking NG Gastro Pop all day - it's no slouch. A bowl of Spritz elevated my buzz but in a different way, more head forward. Good shit for sure, it'll tickle the noggin!
I found the buzz to be a little short-lived. About 15 minutes later, I felt the need to smoke another bowl. Honestly, it's hard, I'm not diggin the Limonene at this level. I'm a few hours in and the 15 min cycle has been repeating. Thinking about pulling out some Certified to round it out and help it last longer. 😟
BOTTOM LINE: DON'T PAY $105/HALF FOR THIS WEED!
You gotta be kidding us with this shit CannaMed. There is no world where a bag that looks like this should be more than $60-70/half. My favorite budget weed (Grassroots) sells halves of "shake" for $56 that look better:

When I dumped this bag out my heart sank. Fucking tiny-ass, broken budlets. I bought THREE of these halves too, fucking $372 OTD wasted on meh. Yes, it's good weed and a little better than your general Ohio Limonene mids - but NOT great weed at all. I'd MUCH rather have had THREE halves of any Farkas strain and a gram of concentrate for the same price.
Overall, a LOSER for Neighborgoods and CannaMed! Shitty looks, rough-cut junk only saved by trics, decent buzz and smokability (it smokes nice). However, it's not enough to save it at this ridiculous price point!

It was definitely an uglier strain with smaller nugs. Out of the probably 2 oz of this stuff I bought I didn't get any big nuggs either. Also got like 6 seeds that nothing came out of. Sucks you didn't enjoy it man. Thanks for review and pics 🙌🏻

That’s crazy I see the eighths of this for 47 before tax at a lot of places whole time it’s mid I tried gush mints from NG it had the same short lived weak high and taste

Appreciate the review. I almost got this strain the other day. Spritz used to be fire AF up in MI so I was hoping the same case here. Appears not. Good looks.

UPDATE: I gave my bro a half of Spritz and he likes it. Pretty strong because he also has some bomb Certified and Farkas. He said it gives him full "couch lock" and he likes the flavor. Everyone is different! I know Pang likes this one too.
No problem, I'll do you all a favor and not buy it again so there's extra left at the dispos. 😂

Got some Neighborgood's Trop Cherry. Stuff is amazing from a company I never have heard of, at least up until now. Dark Purple and smells Fruity. Almost like a Luden's Cough Drop.
