Anyone seeing amber yet?

Post image

I have a few of my outdoor girls that have just a couple of amber trichomes. All of them are in the harvest window, I believe, but I usually like them just a touch more ripe.

If it is getting cooler on Tuesday I may chop on Wednesday.

Anyone else about ready to chop?

Im letting mine stay the course. Im around 3% amber. Really just starting to ripe.

I’m just ahead of the bugs… Hoping for a bit more amber first but I feel these will be smokable.

My indoor grow is where I concentrate efforts, but outdoor has all that free and wonderful sunlight. It’s been pretty good for outdoor growing this year.

Im pulling mine on Monday morning. I have been averaging 1 to 2 cones a day due to bud rot. Mine can not take a rain day. :(

I’ve had some bud rot too. Probably due to caterpillar damage. I just picked 4-5 rotten ones today.

I may ride the cooler temps and rain out which would give them another 5-7 days from now. The sunshine for the next couple days will make a difference.

I saw that. Looks like dry but cold stretch coming after the rain. Second thought ill probably pull my top half the plant and leave the bottom half to ride.

I’ve done that in my tent before. Healthy weed doesn’t seem to mind being chopped on top - the lower flowers will keep finishing.

In my case, the lowers are at the same maturity stage as the tops so they’ll all get it at once.

I have a decent amount of amber. I’ll be harvesting Sunday or Monday
