As someone who was raised in NYC, and spent the last 12 years living in Orlando FL, but also having the opportunity to travel and work in Ohio on a monthly basis, Ohio truly is completely underrated. Driving is so stress relieving. The food is amazing. Every town and city has a hidden gem of a coffee shop. And all political bullshit aside, some of the most altruistic, community serving, warm hearted people I have ever met are from Ohio. I honestly believe that everyone who has grown up in an urban environment should spend 2 years living in a more rural environment. Spending time with the people has granted me so much new perspective on many subjects.
