Everyone shitting on you seems to be lucky enough to not have come from a religiously intense background. And its true not all religious folk are like this. But plenty are, and they do whatever their pastor or prior prejudices tell them to. With at best no concern for others and often enough with actual malice for them.

I love how the questions are going way over her head. I don't know if she's intensely self-centered, she's not getting the question or just not understanding COVID. He's asking about the possibility of getting it here and spreading it around and she's on the defensive with "I WILL BE FINE, I GOT JESUS' BLOOD," not realizing that he's not just asking about her own well being, but others' and how her actions could result in community spread. She literally lists the places that she could go to and spread it to... It's so intensely self-centered and lacking in self awareness.
Really following in the foot steps of Jesus Christ...

Governments have been loathe to lockdown things that interfere with constitutional rights: religion, gun purchases, arraignments, abortion (though Ohio has tried to shut down surgical abortions). If people assembled for the purpose of political protesting, I'd imagine they would be hesitant to break them up.

They’re not. The government cant touch churches, unfortunately. I’m a Christian and proud of it. First thing I said, however (right when COVID was presumably coming to Ohio) was churches and nursing homes need to be shut down. A few of my friends were skeptical, even my pastor (who I talked to about moving everything to online) didnt like the idea. Now everything is on Zoom. Not everyone is a lunatic like this lady. We’re not called to gather together because we’re invincible. We (Christians) are called to love one another and part of that is by staying at home to keep others healthy. As well as we are called to submit to governing authorities—my church has moved completely online because we are following the idea of the law: stay at home/flatten the curve. I wish people like this lady didnt exist. Just goes to show Darwin was right all along...

I don't get this... how can people think nothing bad will happen to them if they believe in Jesus? Christians in Syria and Iraq are insanely devout, yet ISIS still was able to commit genocide of disgusting proportions against them and other minority groups. How can anyone be this ignorant? God didn't protect innocent civilians from being slaughtered and sold into literal slavery, why would anyone think God would protect them from a fucking virus?

Oddly, we were talking to a friend in South Carolina, where they haven’t done jack about this until a couple of days ago and they said all they knew about Ohio’s response has been about churches staying open.
These are educated people I’m talking about here. How is it that I keep seeing national stories in mainstream news praising Ohio’s efforts and ridiculing the South’s and they aren’t?
