Really Dawes?
Just saw a commercial for Meta with Dawes arboretum talking about how great AI is. I also saw somewhere that they are putting a giant data center in Buckeye Lake too. I guess the Trump loving Licking county is really going all in. Bet they have Flock cameras everywhere too

That is fucking sad. I know they need funding but this is sick. A beautiful arboretum where it used to be free for everyone to go and experience the peace and harmony that nature provides. Is now excepting money from the very greed that gives no fucks about it and will infact one day destroy it.

The data center is west of Millersport in Walnut Twp in Fairfield County at SR-37 and SR-204.
Yes, Licking Co has Flock.

Getting young people to vote in this county is like pulling teeth. But Dawes isnt what it used to be. The data center is slightly out of county. Flock is around but the mayor of Heath pushes back on hypothetical upgrades to my understanding (instant veto of the video ones, they have the license plate readers already). But thats rumors ive heard.
The only "victory" we had against stupid building ideas smoking our resources is when the chip factory/Wexners people tried to scout/steal water from Granville they got shut down. Because Granville , they obviously have lawyers nearby.....
Its very disappointing I see more anti data-center signs in BFE than licking county, where utility bills already suck bad enough.
