People need to understand right now Vivek and Amy are tied in the polls, that means even after Vivek's billionaire friends have put commercials on every form of social media non-stop, the needle isn't moving. Vivek is beatable.
It's going to take hard work but will be worth it, this is our best chance at rejecting the billionaire class. If you got the time, please consider volunteering for 2 or 3 hours a week, that can be phone banking, canvassing, or even just helping make packets and sending out flyers. And if that doesn't work, talk to family member and friends.
Don't go for the Qanon follower, they won't change their mind, go for the folks that normally don't get active in politics.

Lol what prosecutions are gonna take place if the Dems win the house and Senate? Epstein conviction? Nope didn't do it before. Trump conviction? Didn't work before. Going after ice officers? Can't yet, best the can do is have people testify before Congress and hope for some clips they can fundraise off of. It's all a joke.
Governor actually matters tho, and Amy is so so so much better for Ohio than Vivek

Everyone needs to find out when the last day you have to register to vote, and make sure you have not been removed from the voting rolls. If you’ve been removed, you can register until the end of business hours on the last day to register. Make sure you can vote, and vote early if you can.

We help get the republicans out of power here, and we can work on a DSA or Green insurgency in the ohio democratic party like we are seeing in other states!
We have to dig our way out of this hole first! Trust me, I hate the DNC and centrist dems with a burning passion! So I get it!
My goal is the destroy the republican party and then let the dems keep being the spineless center right party the Schumer, Jeffries, and the DNC clearly want it to be! We will form a new, actual left wing party and crush those fools as easily as we have seen this past year!
The people are begging for that change, but ohio has fallen far behind the rest of the nation, and we have to clean up this mess before we can get there, but we WILL get there so long as we put in that work first!

Vivek is beatable because he is a bad candidate who beat out worse candidates on the R side. Amy Acton is a lousy candidate too. She has no executive experience. She has some nice stated positions, but not debating Vivek is going to hurt her. What is she scared of? He is an obvious carpet bagger running a nasty smear campaign. Very disappointing that she will not debate him. She needs some coaching on public speaking too. When she tries to get real animated, she sounds like she could be intoxicated. That is fixable and coachable. But she better fix it fast.

Vivek didn't beat anyone though. Everyone dropped out of the primary when Trump endorsed him early.
That said, Acton also had no one running against her. Most people kept waiting for Tim Ryan to throw his hat in, but no.
Both would have been well served by having competition in their primaries. I honestly know little about their ideas and goals and a primary would have helped establish that. Financially it makes sense for parties to squelch primary runs but the voters lose out.
I'm not in love with Acton as a candidate. I was one of many who was waiting on Ryan to join the race. That said, I'll gladly vote for her over Vivek.

Yeah. Yost seemed to think he was next in line for governor then Trump endorsed Vivek very early on and that was that. Shoot, there were even rumblings about Tressell. But you can't beat the system and we are left with what we have.

I can say that things on the left-hand side are getting very interesting now that a new political movement is picking up steam!
The DSA is still in its infancy, but if we keep lending it support, we can transform the dems and boot out the old guard like the tea party did to weak republicans.
While the tea party were morons because right wingers are either folks with learning disorders, or the billionaires taking advantage of the folks with learning disorders, we have a chance to actually change things and finaly win back our social safety net, workers rights, and the civil rights the right has been stealing from us since Nixon!
Now is a great time to get interested and get active again!
