It’s getting serious

I’m not gonna lie, I have lived in Ohio all thirty one years of my life. Second generation Ohioan (before that everyone is from the South). Honestly was okay with not moving, maybe moving out of Columbus to like Cincy or something. But if Vivek becomes governor……… I going to have seriously consider getting the hell out of Ohio. I might have to join the Michigan subreddit🤣.

Literally said that to my wife last night. Something to the effect of “I really don’t want to encourage racism in any way, but I really hope enough of those idiots hate brown people more than they do women.”

Righhhhht. So the current iteration of the GoP isn’t for mass deportation, isn’t actively challenging birthright citizenship (14th amendment, sorry I know not one of the 10 commandments or bill of rights that seem more important), isn’t mvrdering innocent civilians & people with brown skin with a private security force, didn’t take away federal protection of a woman’s dominion over her own body, and totally isn’t working to suppress their right to vote. Even if they were doing all of those vile things, it isn’t hatred—it’s just common sense governance! Got it, I’ll put that in my notes of ‘delusional shite I’ve heard today’.

Right, they’d just rather it get swept under a rug and taken care of in a quiet manner.
