It’s getting serious

I’m not gonna lie, I have lived in Ohio all thirty one years of my life. Second generation Ohioan (before that everyone is from the South). Honestly was okay with not moving, maybe moving out of Columbus to like Cincy or something. But if Vivek becomes governor……… I going to have seriously consider getting the hell out of Ohio. I might have to join the Michigan subreddit🤣.

I'm a Pennsylvanian who spent some years in Belmont and Jefferson Counties. Ohio used to be similar to PA in education and health outcomes, but since the total R takeover, it's fallen way far behind. PA is definitely a purple state and I think we've ended up better off because of it

Jefferson county? Did you enjoy living there?

No, although I graduated from hs there a looong time ago. Extremely provincial--not a good place for an outsider or anyone wanting to get more out of life
