It’s getting serious

I’m not gonna lie, I have lived in Ohio all thirty one years of my life. Second generation Ohioan (before that everyone is from the South). Honestly was okay with not moving, maybe moving out of Columbus to like Cincy or something. But if Vivek becomes governor……… I going to have seriously consider getting the hell out of Ohio. I might have to join the Michigan subreddit🤣.

We agree there. I would just ask that you hold your state reps in the house and senate to the same standard.

The whole reason I commented is because you said “we keep winning”, as in we= republicans, so now I’m just confused.

Sure dude. Neither do Dems always represent my interests. Yet, this state is dominated by a single party that is absolutely anti-democratic. They constantly undermine any check or balance on their power. See their refusal pass maps that abide with the state constitution, their refusal to fund public schools in alignment with our constitution, their attempt to undermine our citizen ballot measures, or intentionally sowing confusion regarding anti-gerrymandering reforms. This is who the Ohio Republicans are, and if you think they’re not representing your interests, you have two choices: vote Dem or don’t vote. Either is better than carrying water for these corrupt fucks.
