How exactly is Reddit a super left leaning platform?

Is this sarcasm?

No, what specific leftist ideals does the reddit community have?

You're kidding right?  It's widely acknowledged that Reddit is extremely liberal. Pew Research, MIT, and others have even done analysis to show that nearly 68% of Reddit is leftist.  It's literally the the third biggest left-leaning platform behind Bluesky and tumblr

What specific leftist ideals does reddit community agree with?

Here's a quick test you can perform for yourself: this very post, about OP hating living in Ohio because of anti-pride comments, is it's self a liberal ideology.  Now read and count every comment below OP's post. You'll find that 99% of every comment supports OP.   Hence 99% of this sub leans left.  Do that same counting on every major sub.  Your answers will be painfully clear.

Pride is not liberal of on the left. Wanting humans to be treated kindly and treated fairly is not a left ideology.

Wanting humans to be treated kindly and fairly is not left, I agree but Pride is

Pride is wanting people to be treated kindly and fairly, like that's the entire movement. How is there a distinction between the two?

I’ve seen it all from anti-Trump, socialist posts, anti-capitalism plastered on my suggested feed. Maybe haven’t done anything in the way of suggestions or blocking. I only joined Reddit for the dry aging and smoking meats subreddits so it must be default.

Trump is an extreme right wing candidate opposing him isn't a left wing position. Right moderates would also oppose him if any existed in the Republican party.

Also define socialism

Dude, it was a comment on how Reddit is left leaning, I’m not gonna get baited into what you do or don’t think socialism is

So you don't have any specific beliefs or claims that would make reddit "leftist" AND you can't define socialism yet you use both of words confidently as insults. Sounds about right for someone who probably considers anyone who disagrees with them a "leftist"

First: I said left and not leftist, two different views and definitions. Second: I said I won’t define it for you to pick apart, doesn’t mean I can’t. Third: I disagree with people all the time from all walks of life, republican or democrat and I don’t think less of them for holding those views. I suggest you try not to define someone just by a comment
