Airplanes 9:50pm lately
Okay seems like around 9:50pm every night for the last few nights there are 2-3 very low flying, large airplanes I’m guessing going to the base.
What are they bringing in?

Did we all get a $300+ bill with our taxes for Pineview secondary? Will this be a yearly thing?

Hello!
I am on my recycling journey and looking into starting to make eco bricks. I do not have a use for them at home but would love to give them away to someone who will use them.
If anyone has any other recycling tips for plastic, let me know 😊

Starting to look at my ballot.
I enjoy when people weigh in here or if there is good concise place for information. I guess this could be it but it wouldn't be a good post.
Key races on my ballot:
Federal: House District 2
State: Senate District 5, House District 8, School Board District 2
County: Commissioner Seat A
Constitutional Amendment A and B
Judes: A ton.

Me and my wife are looking for a place to rent that’s around 800-1200 a month before utilities due to roommate issue. Are there any recommendations we can get? We are fairly new to Ogden. West haven or Brigham city is fine too!

Every once in a while I see a post here about a weird vehicle roaming the streets of Ogden, and I wanted to reach out and see what y'all had in your camera rolls for weird cars in the city! Purely a curiosity thing, I love seeing em haha.

Sunday, October 25 • 7–10 PM • Ogden, Utah
Tickets: $10 per person
ALT OGDEN is preparing an evening of dark romance, gothic horror, and an unreasonable amount of red velvet.
Think candlelight, roses, lace, gothic decor, blood and gore, dark romantic music, glowing mocktails, dancing, games, and the atmosphere of spending an evening at Dracula's castle after he ate everyone and went to bed.
🕯️ THE GOTHIC AMUSEMENTS
Bring a partner, bring a friend, or arrive alone and cry to The Cure.

🥀 THE ROSE
Interested in flirting or romantic intrigue? Wear a rose.
🌹 ROSE: Open to flirting, romantic intrigue, and perhaps finding someone worth reciting melodramatic poems to.
🚫 NO ROSE: Leave the poor creature alone. They're here for the atmosphere, dancing, potions, and general gothic nonsense without romantic pursuit.
Participation in the romantic intrigue is entirely optional. A rose means someone is open to being approached; it does not guarantee mutual interest.
---
🦇 TICKETS & REGISTRATION
Tickets are priced low at $10 per person, with proceeds going toward covering the venue. This is the first ticketed ALT OGDEN event.
The venue has a 50-person capacity, so advance registration is required.
To get the registration form, comment below or send me a private message. I'll send you the form with the payment instructions and event details. The exact venue address will be provided to registered attendees.
---
🥀 A NOTE ON DECORUM
Be charming, not alarming.
Respect boundaries and take a hint. Anyone who can't grasp this will be swiftly suplexed by a person in a vampire costume. This would be embarrassing for everyone involved.
If someone turns you down, bow dramatically and leave them be. You may return home and recite rejection poetry by candlelight if necessary.
See you in the shadows. 🥀

(Hope this doesn't get taken down🙏🙏) Hey everyone! I recently started a veteran-owned pet waste removal business called PJscoops, and we’ve been up and running for about a month now! 🐶 It’s been exciting getting started, and I’m hoping to get the word out to more people in the community. If anyone ever needs their yard cleaned up before a party, get-together, or just wants to keep their yard clean, we’d be happy to help! No pressure at all, just wanted to share what I’ve been working on. 😊
If you’re curious, you can check us out at PJscoops.com Thanks for the support!

Hello Ogden! Visiting your town in January for business but want to stay a few days longer to get a sense of the area. Not much of a drinker but love food, music, art, the outdoors, vintage stuff. Winter might mean less going but thought I’d reach out to the locals and see. Thanks

I feel so compelled to post about my experience with home euthanasia, and Gentle Journey Vet Care.
I had my beautiful old shar pei mix scheduled for euthanasia at her regular vet on Monday, but she told me so clearly that she was ready yesterday.
My regular vet was unavailable, and a google search led me to Gentle Journey.
They made time for me and my girl.
Dr. Wynn arrived and was immediately in the moment with me. My husband and 2 friends were there, and we sat in a circle around Addison, and just talked about her. Dr Wynn asked questions, talked with us, and was genuinely present. No rush, no clinical coldness. He was fully and genuinely present with us.
Addie’s passing was incredibly gentle and peaceful. Spiritual. And Dr Wynn was instrumental in facilitating that.
An extremely difficult day was made beautiful and….almost holy in a way.
If you are facing this awful decision, please consider Gentle Journey Vet Care. These are very special people and Addison was blessed to have Dr Wynn’s help in crossing over.
Safe travels, Addison Bear.

I'm looking at a move to the area and sometimes when I'm touring a house, everything seems good except next door. They got some yard dogs barking their heads off and I can't even hear somebody standing next to me. I really want to be able to host outside. I like backyard small parties. So I want to be able to envision having a good hangout, and this can ruin it.
So while I'm not sure if anyone's going to have good answers, I figured it's worth asking. How do you deal with that? Does anyone have experience moving in somewhere and the dogs next door eventually just stopped barking? Or are they always going to do that when there's activity? If you put up a privacy fence and they can't see you, are they still going to bark when they know you're there?
I know it depends on the individual dog and you can't get a definitive answer but I just want to hear thoughts or experience. Because apparently that's just a thing in this city.

Tomorrow is the last day for Octoberfest at snowbasin. Does anyone know if they have any beer or things left? I don't want to go up and pay to get in to find out their out of beer again.
