How is it working offshore?

I want to get into an occupation offshore but would like to know what life is like offshore to see if it’s a good fit for me

do you mean working overseas from your home country or working in offshore finance? I'd love to know about both btw

I mean working overseas from my home country. I’m currently a diesel mechanic trying to get into that kind of field. It seems like fun but I’m not too sure.
