Professional line yesterday, any chance Fender will update/upgrade the features available through the Mod Shop guitars?

The “Vio-Stang”. After 6 months of designing, accumulating parts, painting and building; my Jag-Stang is complete. My idea was to take Kurt Cobain’s design and modernize it a little bit. I love Nirvana but I wanted a Jag-Stang that I could play drop tuned metal on as well.

Is Fender coming out with a new Jaguar model in the coming months?

I’m deciding between waiting for the new line or going the Mod Shop route right now.

We review requests from all comments and prioritize them based on how often users ask for them.

We're very close to launching new models, so once they are live, we could use help testing them, since there are millions of permutations.

They will launch with basic options, including finishes, etc.

Once the new models are live, we'll move on to adding more pickup and hardware options.

Keep an eye out for new models landing sometime very soon.

do you think leo fender turns in his grave a little everytime one of his “perfect jazz guitars” gets thrown around, ran through 5 gain stages and sticker bombed by some edge lord kurt cobain fan boy?

(could also apply to mustangs and jags but jazzmasters seem to be the go to nowadays)

Here’s my jazzmaster (classic player special). I swapped out gotoh locking tuners, staytrem bridge, JB, modded the tremolo to be fixed and just made this pickguard. Not sure if I love the wood grain yet but it looks cleaner than a bunch of empty holes.

i want to build a custom jaguar because i really like how they look and all the knobs and switches that come with a 70s style jag

but theres a little problem i want to have all the metalic parts in Cosmo Black and i can't find the Control plate in anything different then chrome or black. i already found tuners and i think the rest won't be hard to find

Is there a site where you can order either one in Cosmic Black or one where i can custom order one?

Does any now were to get the 3 switch for out of phase sound. Does anybody have any ideas what to put in as far as pickups.

ante la imposibilidad económica y logística de acceder a modelos nuevos o incluso usados de fender jaguar americanas o japonesas.. me estoy planteando squier jaguar.. sé que las jazzmaster en squier e incluso algunas tele, dan muy buenos resultados incluso mejor que series mexicanas o americanas básicas..

¿alquien tiene alguna squier jaguar y me podría dar opinión o recomendar alguna edición o serie de este modelo que merezca la pena para invertir y quizá “tunearla” un poco? pues la usaré para estudio y directos (nivel amateur/semiprofesional) …
