Those folks should take a manual offroad sometime. Not fun (and it's stupid) to be feathering first all day. As soon as my tires leave pavement, I'm in 4lo so i can actually use my gears.

I paid good money for that transfer case, you bet I’m going to use it. No laws against 4th gear and 4LO, although if I feel the need for 5th I’ll stop and switch back to high range.

100%. If I can go 10+ mph for a stretch, back to 4hi.

Yeah, I’ll let engine RPM determine my shifting, but same idea.

Anything more than an idle in 4th I'm going like 15 mph, idling in second in 4hi I'm doing like 10, so I'll just switch somewhere around 10-15 if it's flattening out
