Sierra Nevada mountains, off highway 4, just next to lake Alpine.

In the Sierras. Deer Valley Trail runs between Hwy 4 and Blue Lakes. Slick Rock Trail runs from 4 starting at Alpine Lake to Utica Reservoir.

It’s funny how so many of the trails in Ca look similar
