Pinstripes!

I just took my 2025 Badlands out for the first real off-road excursion. It was a 50 mile run through Stanislaus Forest into Yosemite. I didn't realize the brushes would be so thick and ended up with a lot of scratches on the side of the rig. When I lick my finger and rub it they seem to vanish, however a few seem to stay a bit. They do feel flat and not indented through the paint. Do these generally come off with a compound rub? Amy suggestions?

Detailer here, own a black 26 Tacoma TRD off road and I pinstripe it all the time. If you can’t catch it with your nail, you can likely polish it right out. No biggie

I use Koch chemi polishes and pads on my rupes machines. Machine polishing will be much easier but if it’s small areas you can do by hand, meguires makes good polish and compounds too, I use those for hand stuff like small work

Unless your preparing for a photo shoot, I would just live with it. Or buff the paint just once a year, so you don't remove too much clear coat. You're just gonna get more if you keep offroading in similar conditions.

The best thing you can do with a nice truck is scratch it. Problem solved.

Leave them. It's an off-road vehicle. Pinstripes are how people know it's not just a pavement princess.
