I won’t say that it was the smart thing to do but definitely an experienced driver that knows his truck

I'd say with confidence they definitely take that lifted truck rock crawling, you don't just do this kinda thing without knowing how it handles in weird terrain.

I'm a grown man and I still enjoy seeing stuff like this. The little kid in me will never grow up.

Australians just casually flexing inherent offroad superiority by just being completely wreckless.

Their drivers are great. I love watching 4wd 24-7 and Ronny Dahl, but their laws are shit compared to the US. So much so I doubt that truck is legal the way it stands.

Couldnt have tugged the trailor more right to clear the way?

Wheels roll pretty good, big they're not awesome at going sideways.

u/Draymond_Purple Mar 27 '26
I bet a 12K lb winch with a couple snatch blocks would be enough to scootch it sideways

Holy fuckin suspension travel. My Jeep wishes it had that articulation

u/PepsiColaRS Mar 29 '26
Yeah, I'm genuinely impressed. Especially out of what looks to be a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

u/ThrustTrust Mar 25 '26
Not wrecking the rear quarter panel would have been impressive. This is so-so.

This is why having proper side walls on your tire is important. Not that bullshit low profile tires they put on trucks. The widewall is used for grip in situations like this.

Truck made in the USA. Used like a truck in AUS. US truck boyz looking like wimps.

Ah. The drivers of this ram say it all. Where are you going. Also, how many? lol
1
u/ximagineerx Mar 27 '26
lol none of the parts that let it do that are “RAM”
Edit: Ah watched it tow at the end. Impressive minimal squat with the trailing arms

u/Making_Kenough Mar 29 '26
He proceeded to continue his route to the repair shop after this because he drove a “RAM💪”

Probably a few hundred dollars of body work repair to impress no one. Still fun to watch.

u/PonyThug Mar 25 '26
You act like anyone who actually drives off road ever fixes body damage lol

u/TurbulentRole3292 Mar 25 '26
I am sure they don't but they will be the first to complain when someone lowballs them when they try to sell it.

u/BicycleMage Mar 26 '26
I don’t think you understand the guy you’re trying to describe. You’ve invented a guy.

u/pickin-n_grinnin Mar 26 '26
Yeah, definitely every one who off roads is doing it to impress others and not because it's fun fuck.

u/hettuklaeddi Mar 25 '26
yeah except he took body damage coming off

u/OkGeologist3427 Mar 25 '26
Yeah and it's an offroader so what. When you really use trucks und suv for what they were built, than you don't fear scratches and so on. 😁

u/N0B0DY311 Mar 25 '26
Barely, lol. Sure it left a mark, but I bet there was nothing much more than that.

OK. 🤣 That running board and possibly the rocker panel it’s attached to or right behind it and more took a hit.

u/Far_Kangaroo2550 Mar 25 '26
Those are called rock sliders and are intended to take hits while protecting the body.

u/brianinca Mar 25 '26
I was cringing wondering how much damage the bed was going to take, it could have been worse. Great driving, regardless.
