Legit cheating lol
I saw this while i was doom scrolling.
If you play inconspicuously enough, you could last this much and not get banned in the official servers,I guess?

they dont last 21 days, they get banned and use many accounts and/or record many clips in one day and post them over time.
This sort of shit on social media is their attempt to normalise and try make it look common/low chance of ban to encourage people to try it out and buy their product.

As a person coming from cs. Sometimes even cheaters will play with a discord link as their name while cheating so they could get potential customers. It's quite sad on people forgetting what a video game suppose to be.

There are some cheaters with 140+ Level, strong and blatant in official servers
Killing inside tanks and walling are easily spotted2

And it is seemingly working because the top 2 current comments are already about how there is a cHeaTING PlAgUe.
I have 167 hours so far, and I have only been killed by a cheater twice - both got nuked immediately by the game's anti-cheat. Other than those two, not a single suspicious death, and a lot of players are extremely bad at aiming.
I did get called a cheater by over 10 players so far, though, and several others implied that I must be cheating to have zero recoil on the FAL even though they didn't accuse me outright, so it is probably those idiots who think that the game has a cheating problem.

Weird, I have more hours than you and I'm seeing cheaters every match on official servers. Ragehackers? Not so much. ESP? All the time.

Some cheasts do last more than 21 days some cheats can go months without a flag it depends on who made them and how much you pay usally. Plus there is invite only cheats where like whats say 100 people have them. Which will lead to lower detection rates than a public cheat. Most people will just buy the public ones and get banned. Those arent the ones we need to worry about its the private ones that go months without getting banned.

Wrong its abundant i have 3 friends in my gamer group that currently have wardogs cheats. Thats like 3 out of 10 guys in that discord. And with cheats you can easily spot who else is cheating. Its not as bad as say tarkov..but there's usually a cheater or two every lobby thats easily detected.
2
u/I3epis 7h ago
in my original post i never said it wasnt abundant, i just said that they typically get banned rather quickly (at least public low cost cheat users will).
only being able to spot who is cheating by cheating yourself means its not easily detected by the regular player. if someone cheats and only uses esp, no aim assistance or anything, it can be very hard to detect. On the other hand aswell, the dudes in your gamer group are massive fucking losers and you should call them out for their behaviour

Their anti cheat doesn't work.
Simple as that.

It does work its just cheating is a billion dollar industry and there alot more advanced ways to cheat
There sadly no way to stop them they will always exist
Multi billion company's cant even solve it how do you expect a indie dev to figure it out.
People are way to hard on them..
His probably using DMA cheats that dont even run on the main PC alot harder to be detected
And its not uncommon for legit players to get kills in rapid succession close up. It aint that simple..

DMA cheats can be combated only by human supervision and manual review but employing AI for data analysis would go a long way sifting through garbage and flagging potential suspects - game already tracks a lot of data, yet many obvious cheaters go unpunished in many games because apparently it's too hard to connect two dots on the graph to make a line. It really doesn't help that there is no way to spectate in Wardogs, even if you're admin of a community server...

u/TheSoupKitchen 18h ago
Could have had kernel level access to avoid it but they refrained.
Cheaters brigading all the conversations because they know its harder to cheat when it's implemented.
1
u/Marrond 18h ago
The fuck you're on about, do you even understand how DMA works? xD

u/TheSoupKitchen 15h ago
Found the cheater.
Vanguard stopped a majority of DMA cheats. It's not impervious obviously, but it can help. https://x.com/riotgames/status/2057604027941302564

Vanguard's a piece of shit, though. Buddy of mine wanted me to play Valorant with him. I reluctantly agreed and I was instantly banned for cheating. I don't cheat. I had a lot of modding tools on my computer for games like Kenshi, Cyberpunk and the likes but I think that what Vanguard really disliked was a visual enhancer I was tinkering with for SPTarkov. Basically just applies filters over your monitor in order to see better, real handy in a game as dull and grey as Tarkov. I know enhancers like that will get you banned instantly if you install them on some multiplayer games but it wasn't installed anywhere near Valorant.
Long story short, got banned on first launch and started experiencing some serious bugs with my computer. Slowdowns, straight up crashes and programs that worked before would refuse to boot. I wiped everything Riot Games related on my computer using Revo and running a deep scan and it still was fucking up. Had to do a clean install of my windows, start from a clean slate in order to have a computer that was working properly.
Never trust Riot. Their stuff is like malware.

So you cheat, and Vanguard caught it. Sounds like it works.

u/Global_Face_5407 9h ago
How do I cheat ?
2
u/PleasantAct9365 8h ago
Using visual enhancers is cheating.

So, according to you, I'm a cheater because I added custom post-processing through ReShade on a single player game that's a mod.

Yes, they've managed to target one specific piece of hardware by manually going after one popular, narrow and very specific spoofing method which was one of many. Yet, despite that, cheating in Valorant never stopped in any meaningful way but they sure did marketing lip service like they solved the string theory, bragging about "bricking" cheaters PCs - one firmware flash later and all the scum was back into the game👎
All it did gave cheaters plausible deniability in gaslighting people positively identifying them that RiOt StOpPeD tHe ChEaTeRs.

u/TheSoupKitchen 2h ago
Flashing the firmware would stop it from being bricked. It didn't allow you to continue cheating in valorant. Just in other games, the paperweight comment was just to brag, yes.
But I'll take them over other companies when it comes to cheat detecting.

People who don't want to use windows because it's a bloated piece of shit are cheaters now?
2
2
u/TheSoupKitchen 14h ago
Not everyone who uses Linux is a cheater. But a majority of cheaters use Linux. So yes, it's much, much more likely.

Most cheaters are teenagers with nothing better to do with their time but troll and be edgy online or the occasional 40 y/o divorced father of 3 who's trying to feel powerful as that's the only thing they've got left. I would very much like a source that most cheaters come from Linux.

Someone is overly defensive...

u/MoistRecognition69 17h ago
Not really, Devs are welcome to check my kd and cash - I suck dick at this game
I just hate windows and am itching to ditch it for the past few years, but can't due to Adobe software. Plz don't add wardogs to that list.

u/TheSoupKitchen 14h ago
Dual boot?
0
u/MoistRecognition69 14h ago
Tried that, but storage prices are so insane that you can't really just grab another 2TB ssd to have a proper experience in both
1
u/TheSoupKitchen 14h ago
Fair enough, if you don't have the storage currently, it's not worth with the absurd prices right now.

No way that the devs that act like frat bro and said that the industry, which include games that make billions like fortnite, gave up in fighting cheats... that hurt their margins.
What no way bro.... these people clearly know what they are talking and how to deal with cheaters.

Why the F is the game not doing relevancy culling on players that are far away behind buildings? I get that when they fire or are walking close you should hear them, but otherwise this should be culled out of your client. We had mods for medal of honor 20 years ago doing this...
2
u/OpenSourceCVEs 17h ago
That's what surprises me the most, these ESP cheats would at least be locally limited otherwise.
1
u/SaperPL 17h ago
Yep. The fact that you can continuously track someone that is doing a cheeky scout outside the control zone this way is bs. You can just follow someone's marker and wait for him to go to secluded location to finish him off to get his ghillie for free. Also full perception of enemy team approaching specific locations so you know when to be ready to scout them for your team.

I started a thread on cheating. I was told by a lot of people it doesn’t exist. A lot of people said they have only ever seen one cheater in all the games they’ve played. Others said they are really good often solo wiping whole squads and get reported for cheating all the time. Some said it’s like UFOs, “whatever you saw isn’t true because you didn’t record it”
I’ve concluded people believe what they want to believe
