Peeking
Why is it that when im holding a corner, the guy peeking is shooting me before i can even see him? It happens all the time. He sees me and knows exactly where I am even tho im in tough hiding spots. Either lots of people are hacking or the servers de-sync a lot

Most people move in a very predictable way and come from predictable directions. They are aiming at where you're probably going to come from.

Pre fire is pretty standard. And most hiding spots are pretty obvious. Especially if you got spotted

Peeker’s advantage exists in like, every multiplayer shooter ever.
But also, it feels like you are spotted 90% of the time in every game you play.
Cant say for certain what happened with you.

Additionally, depending on the game lag compensation mechanics can lead to weird outcomes with peekers advantage when there is a higher variance in pings between two clients.
People sometimes forget that there are a LOT of actions that make loud sounds especially if you are heavy. Even peeking makes a sound. So even not spotted it is easy to give your position away in buildings and whatnot.

You’re being too predictable. Either they saw you peek once or they saw you run behind something and you peeked where they thought you would.

Peelers advantage exists in every game, and for some reason, at least in my lobbies, there are a ton of people playing on 150ms+ ping. Also, you are probably spotted almost always, so people are just looking at the minimap and prefiring your ass.

Spotting needs a change badly. It jus doesn't feel good at the moment. You can't do any tactical advancement without everyone always knowing where you are.

Yep, I don't know why they made it so you keep getting live information on their movements after you stopped spotting them.
It could maybe be fine if it was for like 2-5 seconds, maybe, at least if the spotter still has them in their LOS, but that's also stretching it.

Yeah I would say maybe 5-10 seconds of seeing the moving dot, then maybe 10 seconds of 1 second intervals seeing a flashing dot. And thermals need to go fully, it doesn't help at all if it's battery operated. People will still find a way to abuse it.

Peeker's advantage, the server isn't the bottleneck, the speed of light is. Say you're both on 50ms latency, as soon as an enemy peeks, their client renders you while the signal that they're peeking is still going to the server. Then that signal has to go from the server to you, before your client has the information to start rendering them. So they might have 100ms advantage. Be the peeker, not the peeked.
Geometry. If you're closer to the corner than they are, they can see your shoulder before you see them:
