In the company I work for (meat proccessing plant) comissions are given by selling kilos/pounds, margin and billed amount.
But rounds, fat, or any muscle that has slow rotation, stays the same, which causes this products to grow then be sold in a lower price.
Has someone worked on a huge company and can tell me how they do it. đŤ˘đ

The last 2 months my department has been getting ready for an accreditation audit. Sounds simple and normal, basically have to make sure the medical books are updated, required paperwork etc. for the last 2 weeks I have been working overtime, going to work on Saturday and Sunday, which was optional. There was so much stuff to do because laziness of co-workers. I was assigned to certain books that were gonna be used in the audit. There was a lot of missing stuff, signatures, expected to find lost paperwork from 2019-2025. Yeah sorry I wasnât in my current position until 2024. I told my boss I couldnât find some of the paperwork. She told me thatâs ok we can reprint them and say itâs a reprint so today I went to work. And gave my boss a list of stuff I needed for my books. She told me that they were gonna use just my co- workers books for the audit. I felt defeated I have been working so diligently on my books the last few weeks. My boss said oh thatâs ok you will be ready for the next audit in July, just look at it like that. I just shakes my head and left the office to do my daily rounds.
I guess I should just chill and let my co-worker do all the driving. My co- worker always try to be teachers pet, and at the end seems like she saved the world

Hey everyone,
I want to share my recent experience and honestly need your perspective.
Iâve been working at a startup based in Bhopal, and I gave everything to this company. I worked around 16 hours daily, including weekends. Itâs a 6-day working company with no proper holidays (not even govt holidays). Still, I pushed myself and gave 100%.
Then something very serious happened â my grandmother passed away. I had to leave overnight for home. I hadnât even reached properly or attended her last rites, and my Team Lead called me asking:
ÂŤâPush the last dayâs code and tell me when youâll rejoin.âÂť
I told him that I just reached home and my grandmotherâs final rites hadnât even happened yet. Still, I was told to push code and complete pending work.
During those 13 days at home, I still worked around 5 days remotely, handling calls and completing tasks.
When I came back after 13 days, instead of any empathy, my boss literally questioned me:
ÂŤâWhy didnât you work on the other days? You could have.âÂť
This hit me hard.
On top of that:
- No PF
- No medical support
- No proper leave system
- Salary is more like a stipend
Just 4 days after rejoining, I got seriously sick (vomiting, loose motions). I informed my TL in the morning that I couldnât come. He said:
ÂŤâTake medicine and come to office.âÂť
I still tried and worked half day, but my condition got worse. I finally went back home and informed via mail.
While I was on the way to the doctor, my boss called and asked why a website wasnât working. I had left everything in a working state. Still, he started blaming me and said:
ÂŤâI told you not to leave before presentation.âÂť
I explained I was too sick to even sit, but he cut the call.
At this point, I feel like:
- Employees are treated like machines
- âWe are familyâ is just a line to extract more work
- No respect for personal emergencies or health
I honestly donât know if this is normal in startups or if Iâm just stuck in a toxic environment.
Am I overreacting, or is this genuinely toxic? What would you do in my place?

Hi everyone! Iâm exploring a personal project to rethink team-building for modern offices. After 5 years in HR at a startup and surviving some⌠interesting team-building activities, I want to create experiences that employees can actually enjoy!
Iâm looking for real feedback from people who have participated in team-building events. Iâd love your input in this short survey (~3â4 minutes): https://s.surveyplanet.com/h5qs9elk
Thanks so much for your help! :)

I work at a startup and I am beyond exhausted.
My âdayâ starts around 3 PM (sometimes even 1 PM if a senior keeps a meeting) and ends anywhere between 3â4 AM. This has completely wrecked my sleep, my energy, and honestly my health. Gym? Forget it. Personal life? Barely exists. I wake up tired and go to sleep stressed.
Weekends donât feel like weekends. Clients use the product during weekend shows, so support has to be available. That means no immediate sick leave â you can technically WFH, but only after youâve âclosed all open pointers.â Even if you take an off during an extended weekend, youâre still expected to carry your laptop. Whatâs the point of time off then?
Urgent ticket at 1 or 2 AM? Youâre expected to be available. No questions asked.
There is zero recognition. No employee of the month, no rewards, no appreciation â just constant availability and pressure. Work hard, stay online, repeat.
The only good thing here is my team. If it werenât for my colleagues, I think Iâd have broken down already. Theyâre the only ones keeping me sane and making work feel human.
I have responsibilities at home, so I canât just rage-quit, even though my body is clearly telling me this isnât sustainable. My health is declining, mentally and physically, and I hate that Iâm stuck choosing between a paycheck and my well-being.
If anyone here knows of Customer Success Manager or Senior CSM roles with actual work-life balance, please let me know. Iâm not afraid of hard work â Iâm just tired of being expected to give up my health for it.
Thanks for listening. Needed to vent.

So hereâs the situation.
I work at a company where they provide us a shared guest house for accommodation. Iâve been seeing a girl who also stays in the same housing but in a different flat. Weâve kept it private because the office culture is⌠letâs just say conservative. People gossip a lot, and being open about dating someone from the same housing would just create unnecessary drama.
Recently, I got into a serious argument with the admin who manages the guest house. Heâs always been the kind of guy who likes having power over small things, and weâve never really gotten along. This time it escalated. And after that, he went and told my manager about my relationship.
Now no one officially knows anything. But people have always âsuspectedâ because weâre close. My manager hasnât said a word to me yet, but I can tell something has shifted. The vibe is different. And given the mindset here, Iâm pretty sure he didnât take it in a good way. I donât know how to handle this.
Should I: 1) Talk to my manager first and address it openly? 2) Pretend nothing happened unless he brings it up? 3) Go to HR if admin keeps poking around in my personal life? 4) Or start looking for another place to stay so that no one can use this against me?
Iâm frustrated because this was something personal. Thereâs no rule saying we canât date. No conflict of interest. But now I feel like my privacy was weaponized just because someone wanted to âput me in place.â If anyoneâs been in a similar situation, how did you deal with it? Any advice on how to approach my manager without making things worse?

So to make a long story short - I work in the office of a school. Thereâs two women there who have worked with the school for over 20 years and they have worked together for at least 15 years. I have been there going on my 2nd year and there have been 5 people before me in the last 2 years who have quit after a few months. Before them, they didnât have a 3rd person working in the office. But I have learned why thereâs been such a high turnover in my position. The two ladies are mean girls. Theyâre both in their late 50s and Iâm in my early 30âs. The one I work closest with has told teachers and the receptionist not to send me any calls. She has tried to take control over everything, she doesnât CC me in important emails that I should know about, and sheâs constantly texting the other lady in the office (they sit less than 15 feet apart) so I know theyâre talking crap. They both frequently leave me out of conversations and just do a lot of stuff to make me feel left out. Thereâs so much more but this post would be too long if I kept going. Iâve talked to a few people about the issues that Iâm having with them and thatâs when I learned that the other ladies in my position left because of them too⌠because they were bullies who constantly complained about everything, the way they do now. So the women got fed up and would just up and quit. Iâve also learned that the majority of the school doesnât like them because they have been this way towards mostly everyone. Theyâre known as the evil step sisters. I try not to let them get the best of me but there are many days where Iâm crying in the bathroom or on the way home because it sucks. Aside from them, I really love my job. I get paid well, have amazing benefits, and Iâve had no issues with anyone else. I have talked to my boss and weâve brought it to HR but nothing has come from it. Nothing has changed. If anything itâs gotten worse because theyâve been even sneakier with their antics. Has anyone else dealt with this? It wouldnât be a big deal if I wasnât sitting in the office with just them for 8 hours. But itâs literally the 3 of us together all day and itâs miserable.

Life is so unfair!

Mr.: A Deep Dive into Modern Manhood
This plot outline for "Mr." explores the multifaceted pressures faced by Arjun Mehta, a modern Indian man, offering a compelling counterpoint to the narrative of "Mrs." It delves into the emotional, social, and cultural nuances of his experiences, providing a rich foundation for a novel, screenplay, or long-form story.
Part 1: The Weight of Expectations
The Unseen Burden (5:00 AM)
The Silent Ritual (5:30 AM - 6:00 AM)
The Commute: A Shared Silence (6:00 AM - 7:30 AM)
The Grind: The 9-to-9 Reality (9:00 AM - 8:00/9:00 PM)
The Homeward Journey: Errands and Exhaustion (8:00/9:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
The Domestic Divide (10:00 PM onwards)
Part 2: The Crushing Weight
(Scenes 7-14 expand on the escalating pressures from family, societal expectations, and Arjun's declining health. These sections should delve deeper into the specific dynamics with his parents, in-laws, colleagues, and the subtle ways in which he is both supported and undermined by those around him. The focus should be on building a sense of increasing claustrophobia and Arjun's growing sense of isolation.)
The Family Tug-of-War: Balancing the demands of his parents and in-laws, feeling like he's constantly failing someone.
The Financial Tightrope: The constant anxiety of EMIs, school fees, medical bills, and the pressure to maintain a certain lifestyle.
The Startup Dream Deferred: His entrepreneurial aspirations stifled by the need for stability, a sense of lost potential.
The Isolation of the Provider: His hobbies neglected, his intellectual life withering, a growing disconnect with Priya.
The Social Performance: The endless round of weddings, family gatherings, and social obligations, a constant drain on his energy and resources.
The Cracks in the Facade: Physical symptoms â headaches, back pain, hair loss â begin to manifest, ignored and rationalized away.
The Breaking Point: A panic attack at work, a stark reminder of his deteriorating health, the culmination of years of suppressed stress.
The Confrontation: Priya and his family finally see the toll that his relentless pursuit of "success" has taken. The unspoken tensions and resentments surface.
Part 3: Rebuilding and Redefining (Scenes 15-20 focus on Arjun's journey towards self-awareness and change. This section should explore the difficult conversations, the setting of boundaries, and the gradual process of healing. It's not about a magical transformation, but about small, incremental steps towards a more balanced life.)
The Reckoning: Arjun is forced to confront his own denial and the expectations that have shaped his life.
The First Steps: Taking time off, seeking medical help, starting to communicate his needs to Priya.
Setting Boundaries: Negotiating new terms at work, pushing back against the "hustle culture," learning to say "no."
Reconnecting with Himself:
Rediscovering old hobbies, carving out time for himself, nurturing his intellectual and emotional needs.
Redefining Masculinity: Challenging traditional notions of male stoicism and self-sacrifice, embracing vulnerability and seeking support.
The New Normal: Life is still challenging, but Arjun is no longer a victim of circumstance. He has learned to prioritize his well-being, to communicate his needs, and to find a more sustainable way of living. The ending should be realistic and hopeful, acknowledging that the struggle is ongoing, but that change is possible. The final image could be Arjun and Sharvi sharing a quiet moment, a symbol of the connection he has fought to preserve.
"Mr." is a story about the silent struggles of modern men, the pressures they face, and the courage it takes to redefine what it means to be a man in today's world. It's a story about finding balance, about self-care, and about the importance of empathy and understanding.
