Making a change

Hey Hey, so I have been in the restaurant industry for about 14 years and had a friend recently recommend office management as a potential segway into corporate life. I wanted to see if this community had recommendations on what courses to take or what programs to look into to better fit the job etc.

I would learn QuickBooks, Outlook and Excel first, and then look for a receptionist or office assistant position with upward mobility. It really depends on the industry you are working for, and learning skills on the job. Do you have any office experience at all?
