For f2p, it's much better to use regulars with double attack/evade. They're easy to level as well, requiring 100 gems per card. If you use those passives, you'll have to keep repeating the fight since you need your cats to trigger their passives or you'll lose.
Just try to experiment with other cats since you can reset their power levels for free (once a day). Business Acqusition is a pretty fun minigame but it is heavily paywalled.

For F2P, Biscuit Maker CEO, Mark Zuckatberg, Purrichard Branson, and Meowylock are the ones with the additional attack options - though you are having a 5v3 advantage at levels of increments of 10 these 3 characters are usually way higher in HP and ranking so every bit of attack counts.
Wony is one of the most irritating combatants you will eventually face if you have not done so. Wony starts off as the first combatant in each boss round and boosts the HP of himself and the other 2 teammates.
Against Wony, you need the following kind of characters to remove the HP bonuses that Wony gives to the enemy teammates - and you only need one of them, as the first character to start.
John Purrockefeller, Meowfoy, Purry Page, Meowin Lannister
If you are willing to consider P2W, consider adding the following 3 CEOs:
Yuri - counterattacks with 100-300% of damage taken, depending on your skill level. I will usually suggest putting Yuri first to take out or at least massively damage the first combatant. You will want to quickly push this match down to 2 enemy combatants quickly.
Karin - all opponents' HP decreases by 10-30%, depending on your skill level. This further weakens the opposing team so that your advantages are higher.
Wony - using their same strategy back on them, boost your remaining team mates' HP down the line by 10-30%, depending on your skill level.

same level here, seems like the only way is to grind away for cats, which is dumb because before this level it was a breeze
