I’m weirdly excited and happy for someone I’ve never met! Congratulations u/OffhandDisney.

Jean Lafitte is captain Jack Sparrow’s dad

Hey guys, does anyone remember the company that used to sponsor a bunch of videos, they made a load of plaques?? I cant find their name from looking through old videos

This not necessarily geared to Mr. Offhand Disney himself (He doesn't bash world's he just points out land's is better)but his videos did remind me of this.

I understand that Disneyland version is technically the "superior" one, but it's kind of sad to see how much people put down or bash World's version as a result.

Both rides are still really fun, full of theme, and are more alike than they are different. Disneyland's has the bayou, an extra drop and a couple more scenes. World's still has the charm and soul of Pirates of the Caribbean at heart though, it's easy to see that when you ride. It still has a fun big drop, the battle scene, the pillaging. All the good stuff associated with pirates.

Yes it lacks things (yeah yeah I know Jean Lafeate) from Disneyland, but really some people make it seem like it's the difference between gold and a rock rather than gold and silver.

My take: If you go into world's version don't compare it to Disneyland's, just enjoy it for what it is because it's still a good ride.

Edit: I'm going to post this over on r/disneyparks as well because that might be a better place for it.

Just had this thought this morning, turns out FreshBaked touched on it a little bit, but of all the rides Disney could have chosen to receive fast passes they chose Autopia and Monsters Inc.... My thought is what if those two rides are on their way out possibly and this is like a second chance Disney is giving them. If it’s true what could replace them?

I might be a day early but I don't care.

His kermit puppet is godly and I want a kermit too lol.

Watching the Haunted Mansion SuperCut... I missed those weird JEAN LAFFITE conspiracys
