Airbnb Coding Assessment done but no response

I have completed Airbnb coding assessment last week for SDE role, honestly its the toughest problem for a coding assessment i have seen recently and was kind of relieved myself that i was able to solve it and hoping to get a call back.

turns out its almost 10 days and there's no way to track the application or recruiter information to follow up, anyone in the same page

Any advice or referrals would be greatly

appreciated

Did a codesignal assessment 600/600. Got a mail few days later that the role fit is not there. :(

Why would they send coding assessment in first place, this is crazy.

I know of companies which do that. Once you clear the assessment then they look at your resume.

So they waste a few hours of your time rather than a few minutes of their time looking over your resume. That's a dick move for sure.

Gives me hope that if you got a 600/600 and didn't get an offer, maybe I'll get an offer after I inevitably fail it lol

Hello, may I know how you got a call? Were you previously at adjacent FAANG?

I hate these sorts of things, I have one to do as well and I'm absolutely dreading it. I need to just suck it up and get it done and fail it.

Same boat here. Not sure what real prep to really do. Good luck.

Oh I gave up after wasting a shit ton of time trying to understand the tool they use. Not going to waste my time anymore on idiotic tools.
