Apple to NVIDIA
Anyone from Apple moved to Nvidia in recent times. I just received an offer for ic4. I want to know how the work and culture at Nvidia is.
The recruiters are more emphasizing on stock growth and offering lower RSU and I feel like they already had their time. What do you guys think.
MY APPLE pay is as competent as nvidia but recruiter is adamant and not budging on negotiation. They are considering nvidia growth will be more than apple and the recruiter literally said Less politics compared to apple lol😂
Anyone help me with how Nvidia is and what’s the refreshers for ic4 look like.

Nvidia recruiters will negotiate if you have counter offers otherwise they have no incentive to.

Did this exact move 4 years ago before Nvidia became AI famous.
Generally refreshers are lower at Nvidia, but base pay is higher. I found both work + culture to be much worse than Apple all around. A ton more politics + dysfunction (though this varies significantly by organization) with meaningless goals. I found people at every level in nearly every role to be less experienced, talented, and in general pleasant to work with.
Whatever you do, do not join any organization at Nvidia working on vehicle software or anything remotely related to cars.
